"Race" in Today's Climate | Free Your Mind

On May 29, 2021, I was a guest on "The Inclusive Voice Show with Pam McElvane." Pam McElvane is a seasoned leader in business and all things diversity, equity, and inclusion. Additionally, she hosts a radio show that prioritizes hearing various perspectives, including untraditional ones like mine. On the show, I scratched the surface of how the race/racism evasion continues to plague American society. I talk about the six philosophies of race, identify my philosophical positionality, and encourage listeners to reevaluate their own philosophies. In part, I start to share my "theory of racelessness." It is challenging to communicate complex ideas in a soundbite. However, I strive to improve such skills and to use this channel as a means to communicate my ideas on a broader scale.
